In celebration of Halloween, and the Isla Vista Recreation and Parks District’s 50th year birthday, Lucidity Festival produced a spooktacular immersive theatrical experience for all ages in Anisq’Oyo’ Park.
The event featured an interactive adventure, character actors and an immersive storytelling experience, carnival games, a Ferris wheel, face painting, a photo booth, a tricker treat street, free pumpkins, a Thriller flash mob, a silent disco, and an epic costume contest in partnership with the UCSB Fashion Club.
The event was a smashing success, and about 7000 participants came through the park over the course of 3 days. We look forward to anchoring this holiday experience as an annual event in Isla Vista, contributing to wholesome Halloween fun in a safe environment.
