Strategic Plan

The purpose of the Isla Vista Recreation and Parks District’s (IVRPD) 3-year Operational Plan (Plan) is to provide a work plan and roadmap to address identified process, program, and project enhancements and serve as a framework for decision-making over the Plan. In addition, the Plan is structured to articulate clear strategies to address current and future needs to collaboratively and professionally provide parks and recreation facilities and services.

The Plan is a practical working document that can outline direction to staff regarding strategic focus areas, goals, and objectives and is intended to include a work plan articulated by the Board of Directors, developed by the executive team, in consultation with staff to meet those goals and objectives.  It is anticipated that the Board and staff will refer to the Plan as a guide to the IVRPD’s actions and activities for the next 1 to 3 years.
